To ensure you are syncing with the repo, you can hit "sync now" ( and
schedule it if you want) and then go back to the channel page. This will
show you a link that shows the "Last Sync Time:"

Going to Channels --> Manage Software Channels --> Select a channel....You
can click the link there and see the packages, if they are being downloaded.
