[Spacewalk-list] Activation key and "Spacewalk Default"

You're right, the problem sounds exactly like Spacewalk doesn't
recognize the release of the operating system. There are two ways you
can fix this.

1) would be to have the activation key register your client to a
specific base channel instead of the "Spacewalk Default" channel. You'd
need a different activation key for each version of CentOS.

2) would be to create entries in the Chanenls -> Distribution Channel
Mapping page linking your OS / Release / Arch combo to a specific base
channel. This is the mapping that Spacewalk uses to determine what the
"Spacewalk Default" channel is. I don't have a CentOS system to test on
so I can't tell you exactly what those values should be, but if you get
it set up correctly then registering a CentOS system to Spacewalk should
be able to automatically do the "right thing".
