[Spacewalk-list] How to use a signed certificate?

Avi,

I just wanted to report that I was able successfully use your docs and use our *.domain cert in my SW environment. There were a few times that I thought that I would have to ask for assistance, but I was able to work through those and get this working.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Daryl

Thanks for the heads up. I'm just in the demo/testing phase. I can easily remove and re-register my clients. And this is good to know, so if and when I do move into production, I'm already aware.

Daryl

Sure, no problem. The steps worked for me to replace the self-signed certificates with my own personal wildcard SSL certificate and it works fine.

Note that it works best if you don't have any servers registered to Spacewalk. If you've registered any clients, you need to replace the RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT on all the clients as well.

Just a heads-up. :)

Cheers,
Avi
