[Spacewalk-list] Unable to register clients

Two things I would check right off the bat:

1. Name resolution to your spacewalk server. The error "up2date A socket
error occurred: [Errno -2] Name or service not known" Can sometimes happen
due to the client being unable to resolve an IP from the Spacewalk hostname
listed in the /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date file.

2. The rhnsd service is running. # service rhnsd status
Run levels should automatically be set properly when installing the
rhn-client-tools package, but for good measure check them out: chkconfig
--list | grep rhnsd

If you manually do an rhn_check on the client, does it check in properly?
