Just a few questions then:

- How do I create a self-signed cert?

perl gen-oss-sat-cert.pl --signer <YOUR GPG KEY> --resign
/root/your-public.cert

- Do i need to create my GPG keys or do I use the GPG keys from the vendors
(ie CentOS repo's GPG key, etc).

You can create your own GPG with gpg --gen-key either.
