[Spacewalk-list] Two master spacewalk servers running with UCARP and external DB

There is actually a lot more to it than that.
There are several directories you will need to have shared between the two
hosts such as the indexes and cobblers directories.
You will have to ensure taskomatic and rhnsearchd are only running on one
host at a time.
There are a few mentions of this in the Red Hat satellite 5 documentation
but it doesn't go into great detail.
Finally keep in mind if your external DB is an newer version of PostgreSQL
than the client version on the spacewalk servers remember to update the
JDBC driver on the client to match it.

Also why UCARP I know the BSD guys like it because the BSD license conflict
with Cisco's settlement with the IEEE on VRRP infringing on Cisco's HSRP
copyrights, but that does not effect the GPL licensed implementations of
VRRP so keepalived is a far more robust implementation. the honest truth is
the BSD developers didn't do their research before adding VRRP into the
Kernel if they had they would have realized that the settlement makes it
incompatible with the clauses in the BSD and Apache licenses which allow
you to create proprietary forks of the code.
