[Spacewalk-list] Mirroring the PostgreSQL yum repos

Your log excerpt says:

http://yum.postgresql.org/srpms/9.3/redhat/rhel-6Server-x86_64/

which is the source repository.

I guess you want

http://yum.postgresql.org/9.3/redhat/rhel-6Server-x86_64/

instead for RHEL 6 server binary rpms.

> Well the tech at Red Hat support has told me in short; not our repository, not our problem. Which is what I thought might happen. I?m trying to figure out any other solution to my dilemma. When asked the folks at PostgreSQL suggested rsync to mirror their repo which will work except for creating frozen images like I do with clone channel. I use that feature when supporting our product so I can be sure test and production machines are at the same patch level. I would really like to support the PostgreSQL repository the same way I support the EPEL repository.

Even though the repository is empty spacewalk-repo-sync does not think there are any files to sync. That is my issue why isn?t populating the repo initially?

I configured the channel and repository based on the info in the PostgreSQL supplied yum.repo.d file. My problem is satellite-sync never retrieves any files. I suspect that I am doing the translation from the yum repo definition to the channel and repo definition. Needless to say the I replaced the variables to match my environment, 6Server and x86_64.
