Hi Folks,
I had this problem under Spacewalk 2.3 and was hoping it was fixed in 2.4 ...
The kickstart profile has a built-in post-install script/action called:
"Registration and server actions"
... which includes adding SSL/GPG keys... downloading some specific RHN packages via perma-links and installing them... then issuing registration actions using "rhnreg_ks" and "rhn_check" ...
Well... these binaries aren't in the packages that are downloaded via this built-in ... which downloads only:
libxml2
rhnlib
pyOpenSSL
libxml2-python
... when it also needs to be grabbing...
rhn-setup
rhn-client-tools
rhn-check
... I've tried to overcome this using a separate post-install script that fires earlier in the sequence... but, I can't figure out how to make the permalinks that are used in this script/action ... nor can I figure out where this "Registration and server actions" script is located... so I can fix it.
Can someone clue me in on how to do either one or the other?
Thanks!
Andy Speagle
