[Spacewalk-list] Ubuntu Xenial Sync Error with Spacewalk 2.4

Greetings!

I have setup Spacewalk 2.4 on Centos 7. In the Spacewalk server, through
the GUI set up the external repository & created software channel for
ubuntu 16.0.4

While syncing, I get the error:

['/usr/bin/spacewalk-repo-sync', '--channel', 'ubuntu', '--type', 'yum']
Repo URL: http://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/
ERROR: failure: repodata/repomd.xml from ubuntu: [Errno 256] No more
mirrors to try.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/allpackages/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno
-1] Error importing repomd.xml for ubuntu: Damaged repomd.xml file


Would Spacewalk 2.4 support Packages syncing with Ubuntu 16? I have set up
RHEL/CentOS yum repo's with Spacewalk
with out any issues.

Any pointers would be much helpful.
