[Spacewalk-list] Spacewalk with CNAME DNS record

I've got it partly working. (used rhn-ssl-tool) and tricked a little.

 
Hosts can now connect using the spacewalk.domain.com name. However now the canme points to host and I want to configure it using a reverse proxy.Now I only need to configure SSL on reverse proxy to insert it into the chain.

Hi,

 
Part of choices made on my side I would like to configure spacewalk to cname spacewalk.domain.com, however the hostname differs and is something like hostXXX.domain.com.

 
Somehow spacewalk seems to need to work with the hostname FQDN or IP, but I want it to work with cname spacewalk.domain.com that points to A record hostXXX.domain.com. 

 
Is this feasable and how?
