I believe the format is in PEM format, your browser / OS should support 
this for a certificate import, PKCS#12 would only be needed if you need 
to import key, chain and certificate et al.

Some browsers allow you to add the certificate within the web ui, what 
browser are you using?

In any case, you can google for converting certificate formats to the 
various, just search "openssl convert pem to pkcs"

Might be good to look for a SSL certificate primer tutorial in general, 
it can be quite confusing to start with, but it gets a lot easier once 
you've spent some time reading the basic theory and operation.
