Hello,
I am trying to add Ubuntu-Clients to our Spacewalk-Environment.
We are using Spacewalk Version 2.6 and Ubuntu Server 16.04.
I have followed this tutorial:
http://www.devops-blog.net/spacewalk/registering-ubuntu-and-debian-servers-with-spacewalk
But I encountered some problems:
Registration works like a charm, but that is nearly all what is working here.
When I try to "apt update", I get the following Error:
root at ubuntu:~# apt update
Apt-Spacewalk: Updating sources.list
Ign:1 spacewalk://spacewalk.local channels: InRelease
Fehl:2 spacewalk://spacewalk.local channels: Release
404 Not Found
Paketlisten werden gelesen... Fertig
E: The repository 'spacewalk://spacewalk.local channels: Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
In my /etc/apt/sources.list.d/spacewalk.list, following entry is made:
deb spacewalk://fravm000296.os-fra.local channels: main xenial-security xenial-update
I actually don't know where to look for failures anymore, so I hope anyone can help me with this problem.
With best regards,
Christian
