[Spacewalk-list] Errata for SLES channels

Rosario,


Speaking only for SLES SP3 and SLES SP4, the primary pool does not contain updates or errata, however, there is an "Update" pool that does contain errata.  I don't have any SLES 12 servers, but I'm assuming that SLES 12 would be setup the same.  A primary pool, then an update pool.  No need to use spacewalk-repo-sync to import errata.

Thanks a lot. It's quite the same for RHEL. However, the base channel for SLES, I mean the one called Pool, has no errata. Instead, syncing Updates, Extras, etc. they contain the errata information. Do you know why?

just sync the channels with spacewalk-repo-sync. SUSE provide updateinfo.xml.gz repository metadata which are automatically imported as errata into spacewalk.
