[Spacewalk-list] osa-dispatcher init issues, increase debug level?

Thanks.

I have clients registered on my Spacewalk server already, and have applied updates to them. Doesn’t that prove they can talk to the Spacewalk server over port tcp/5222? I do have the correct SSL cert in /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date (not osad.conf)

Make sure your client can talk to Spacewalk server over tcp/5222 and make sure any SSL you have setup is correct. Check your /etc/sysconfig/rhn/osad.conf for the correct osa_ssl_cert line and finally make sure your client has the correct Spacewalk client cert in /usr/share/rhn/

I’m having the following OSAD server startup issues. How can I increase the debug level to see more in /var/log/rhn/osa-dispatcher.log?

2017/05/30 19:35:53 -00:00 8020 0.0.0.0: osad/jabber_lib.__init__
2017/05/30 19:35:53 -00:00 8020 0.0.0.0: osad/jabber_lib.connect('ERROR', 'Traceback caught:')
2017/05/30 19:35:53 -00:00 8020 0.0.0.0: osad/jabber_lib.main('ERROR', 'Error caught:')
