Hi,

as workaround you can implement these changes yourself, by running 
following commands:

mkdir -p /log/rhn/search
sed -i 's|^hadoop.log.dir=.*$|hadoop.log.dir=/var/log/rhn/search|' 
conf/log4j.properties
