[Spacewalk-list] Anybody syncing SLES repositories with SW 2.7?

Ah...ok....I got it.

My PROD SW server was still a 2.4 and somewhere between 2.4 and 2.6, the "advisory_name" has been "shortened" to not contain the "version" anymore. That's why SW thinks, is has to inmport *all* erratas new, because it does not find already included erratas with the "other name".

This is on my PROD, that was a 2.4 and now is a 2.7, where the import of errata does - not yet - work.

rhnschema=# select advisory, advisory_name, org_id from rhnerrata where advisory_name like 'slessp4-MozillaFirefox-12722%';
            advisory            |         advisory_name          | org_id
--------------------------------+--------------------------------+--------
 slessp4-MozillaFirefox-12722-1 | slessp4-MozillaFirefox-12722-1 |      1
(1 Zeile)

rhnschema=#

This is on my TEST SW, after I truncated the rhnerrata table and re-imported

rhnschema=# select advisory, advisory_name, org_id from rhnerrata where advisory_name like 'slessp4-MozillaFirefox-12722%';
            advisory            |        advisory_name         | org_id
--------------------------------+------------------------------+--------
 slessp4-MozillaFirefox-12722-1 | slessp4-MozillaFirefox-12722 |      1
(1 Zeile)

rhnschema=#

Just wanted to know, why this broke....

Robert

Hi Bernhard,

thanks for that info. I have to try that after the Debian synchronization is over.

I got this error already after upgrading to 2.6 and in english the error message is:
"ERROR: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "rhn_errata_advisory_uq""

To get rid of the error you can wipe all erratas from the database with:
rhnschema=# truncate rhnErrata CASCADE;;

With the next repo-sync all errata will be back.

This solution was already posted in march:
https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.redhat.com%2Farchives%2Fspacewalk-list%2F2017-March%2Fmsg00066.html&data=02%7C01%7CPaschedag.Netlution%40swr.de%7Cfdaa22f852884a29343308d51096bc96%7Cbcca095d88d442f88260cc216b81f62d%7C0%7C0%7C636433161962571373&sdata=saB%2Bmv%2FTosSfh7TPtA9%2BftyDERXYwfnZQAhHcpem3e8%3D&reserved=0

I got the same error with sles-11.4 repos.
My spacewalk-2.7 syncs all sles-11.4 and sles-12.x repos from our SMT server without any problems.

Regards,
Bernhard
