[Spacewalk-list] Use Spacewalk instead of Satellite for RHEL

Does anyone have an idea of what Spacewalk’s lifespan is? I know that development continues, but with Red Hat moving to the Satellite v6 conglomeration of upstream projects, does Spacewalk have a long-term future?

Of course you can. All El derivatives can work with spacewalk. Few people use debian on Spacewalk as well but I have never tried that.

Follow along the documentation and you should be good. Test on few systems before doing on entire fleet.

Cheers

Greetings Spacers,

Can I use Spacewalk instead of Satellite to sync with RHEL channels? Are there any special issues to be aware of if doing this?
We do have valid RHEL licenses and subscriptions.
