Hi,
I’m following the steps here https://github.com/spacewalkpr
oject/spacewalk/wiki/RegisteringClients to install the spacewalk 2.8 client
on to a CentOS 7 system I want to manage. I have installed the repo’s:
# rpm -Uvh https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/@spacewalkproject/spacewalk-2.8-client/epel-7-x86_64/00742644-spacewalk-repo/spacewalk-client-repo-2.8-11.el7.centos.noarch.rpm
# rpm -Uvh http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
But when I run
yum -y install rhn-client-tools rhn-check rhn-setup rhnsd m2crypto
yum-rhn-plugin
I get

Python 2.6 isn’t on EPEL 7 (and I don’t particularly want to install it
anyway). Is this a dependency bug or something that can be resolved?
Thanks,
David
