Bonjour Paul-André,

I did try your procedure and ...amazing !

Before applying the SP, I had to change the OWNER as it is rhnuser in my
case :

ALTER FUNCTION rpm.rpmstrcmp(string1 character varying, string2 character
varying) OWNER TO *rhnuser*;

To apply the SP :

# su - postgres
Last login: Sat Dec 22 16:20:46 CET 2018 on pts/1
-bash-4.2$ psql rhnschema -f /var/tmp/rpm.rpmstrcmp.sql
SET
CREATE FUNCTION
ALTER FUNCTION

And I did restart the satellite service.

However even after waiting and finally force the "rhn_check" on a
registered Ubuntu 18.04 server, nothing occured. I did have to remove and
register again the Ubuntu client server to see the difference, means no
more packages flagged as upgradable appaearing on the Spacewalk server.

Will continue to keep an eye on this, will let you know if I notice
something strange.

Thanks again !

Regards,
Philippe.
