Yes, you need to make certain you have both the epel latest repo packages as well as the packages you listed.  There are several dependencies and without the epel latest and the epel java repos, you are certain to get this error.  Check the required dependencies by running "yum deplist install rhn-client-tools rhn-check rhn-setup rhnsd m2crypto"  Just pick one and you see what's needed.

If your CentOS client default repositories doesn’t have the above packages by default, add EPEL and Spacewalk repository, and try again.

rpm -Uvh http://yum.spacewalkproject.org/2.3/RHEL/7/x86_64/spacewalk-repo-2.3-4.el7.noarch.rpm

Hi there,

I copied the spacewalk client repo (2.9) into a local yum repo.

Then I ran yum -y install rhn-client-tools rhn-check rhn-setup rhnsd m2crypto, which fails as

Error: Package: python2-rhn-client-tools-2.9.36-1.el7.noarch
(spacewalk-client)
            Requires: rhnlib >= 2.5.78
            Available: rhnlib-2.5.65-8.el7.noarch (base)
                rhnlib = 2.5.65-8.el7
As a matter of fact, my repo has rhnlib-2.5.65-8.el7.noarch.rpm, not 2.5.78.

Am I doing sthing wrong or is the repo out of sync ?
