Where on the WebUI am I able to block these packages? The only thing I see is to delete a package within a channel, which will reappear the next time it syncs. (Manage software channels ---> click on # of packages in channel, search for package in question, click remove.)

Regards,
Sulove

Is the channel definition within the command line? How would I get to where I want to go?

For example, if I want to block Firefox package updates from a channel called "centos7-x86-64," what commands would I run exactly? I am a beginner Spacewalk user.

    Regards,
    Sulove

Within the channel definition, you can specify to block certain packages. Something like

"-perl*" would not sync perl packages.

Note that this might break dependencies.

        Hi,

Is there a way to permanently remove packages from a Spacewalk channel? I am receiving Firefox package updates in a Centos7 channel that I don’t believe should be occurring; I’ve figured out a way to temporarily delete the Firefox package updates, but once the channel syncs (which is often), the Firefox updates pull again and I am left with the same issue.

        Thank you,

        Sulove
