You need the ol6_latest repo as a child to get the latest security fixes. You probably also need a more up-to-date UEK repo, i.e. UEKR4: http://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/UEKR4/x86_64/index.html <http://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/UEKR4/x86_64/index.html>

The plan UEK repo is UEK2 which is still being updated though. The latest UEK2 was released 3 days ago: kernel-uek-2.6.39-400.319.1.
