Well, I've mistyped the filename, correct is 'updateinfo.xml':
# locate updateinfo.xml
...
/var/cache/rhn/repodata/rhel-x86_64-appstream-8/updateinfo.xml.gz
/var/cache/rhn/repodata/rhel-x86_64-baseos-8/updateinfo.xml.gz
/var/cache/rhn/repodata/rhel-x86_64-server-7/updateinfo.xml.gz
...
