[Spacewalk-list] [EXTERNAL] /var/satellite full (1.2TB). What happens if I remove some of the contents?

Hi,
Following up on this.

Spacewalk-data-fsck only cleared a few packages so the drive is still just
about 100% full. I believe I have to start managing channels somehow...via
spacecmd or GUI but I cannot get to them.

All of the services are listed as running when I run
/usr/sbin/spacewalk-service status but when I try to use spacecmd it gives
ERROR: Failed to connect to https://../rpc/api

The hostname is listed in /etc/hosts for localhost and I can ping the
address. Other than that I'm not sure where to look to get the api
connected. Would you guys have any ideas?
Thanks again!
Tony
