Since we already have epel 7 as official dependency for upstream
el7 Tendrl builds, using collectd-ping from epel is fine. Moreover
rebuilding a package which is already in other repository is not
a good idea, unless we have a really good reason to justify the
additional work associated with the maintenance.

Downstream is a different story, but this is upstream mailing
list.
