Should be able to write in a --splash option to appliance-creator,
doesn't look to hard to implement without changing alot so far. Or what
about a branding type rpm package? includes boot splashscreen etc.....?
That would be the simplest to create given the documentation for it.
Then in the script section of the package symlink it to the new image.

What do you think about those options?
