So appliance-tools for RHEL has stalled b/c ovirt is now using plain
livecd-tools. It is also dependant on updating the version of
livecd-tools in EPEL which is on my radar, however back porting
appliance-tools to python 2.4 for RHEL is not.
However, I do believe there is a workaround to the issue that you are
currently seeing:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=466275
Please let me know if this fixes the issue.
