Compiling Tux on 2.4.5

I have downloaded the vanilla 2.4.5 kernel and the Tux-patches dated 31/05-2001. Compiling the vanilla kernel is fine, but the patched version gives these compiler-errors:
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.5-ac4/kernel/net/tux/tux.o
depmod: 	cpu_bh_enable
(for all modules..)

After posting to news://no.it.os.unix.linux.diverse, Øystein Svendsen gave me a tip to add these lines:
EXPORT_SYMBOL(cpu_bh_enable);
EXPORT_SYMBOL(tasklet_hi_schedule);
to kernel/ksyms.c. By doing this the kernel compiles, but I get a kernelpanic(!) when trying to boot it.

Is this a known problem? The settings I'm using worked fine in 2.4.4, but I can't find the old files anywhere and is now stuck with a kernel without Tux. :-(
