However I am also facing this problem. The telnet service is installed and I
have also set it to start on boot-up via ntsysv I am able to ping to the
address also which means the machine is on the network. I also removed all
the firewall rules. I think this has something to do with xinetd. Can
someone guide me and Prashant on this.
