Re: autostart eth0, not eth1



  you may want to try adding to 
   /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX
  for eth0 and eth1 a line of the form:

  HWADDR='<your mac address>'
  You can view the mac adress by doing ifconfig and 
  it should be right after 'Hwaddr'.
  This should tie each ethX to the specified mac address.
