RE: x0rfbserver Install Help!!

Hehe.. Of course I know about VNC, PCAnywhere etc.

I'm a technical guy that spends MOST of my time online, plus doing
research. I'm getting my Associates in CS pretty soon :)

Anyways.... With looking into my problem I'm noticed a few errors when I
do the "make depend" command:

###############################################################
make[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/downloads/rfb-0.6.1/xrfbviewer'
g++ -DUSE_ZLIB_WARREN `xc-config --cflags` -I../include
-finline-functions -funroll-loops -O3 -Wall -MM *.cc > .depend
xrfbviewer.cc:781:10: warning: extra tokens at end of #endif directive
###############################################################

AND

###############################################################
make[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/downloads/rfb-0.6.1/x0rfbserver'
g++ -DUSE_ZLIB_WARREN `xc-config --cflags` -I../include
-finline-functions -funroll-loops -O3 -Wall -MM *.cc > .depend
In file included from x0rfbserver.cc:56:
XUpdateScanner.h:78:8: warning: extra tokens at end of #endif directive
In file included from XUpdateScanner.cc:27:
XUpdateScanner.h:78:8: warning: extra tokens at end of #endif directive
###############################################################

I have NO idea what this means or what I need to do. I looked in some of
the files that it says, but I did not find anything that should be
edited.

If anyone can shed any light about this, it would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

I don't know anything about x0rfbserver. Have you heard of, or tried, a
free
product called VNC? I'm using that to manage remote Linux systems and it
works very well. It's much like a PCAnywhere or Windows Terminal
setup...

Subject: x0rfbserver Install Help!!

I've read the docs, search forums, and archives and still I can't get
this to install on my system.

Right now I'm working with "rfb-0.6.1.tar.gz" & "xclass-0.6.2.tar.gz"

I've untarted them both and read the instructions on how to install, but
this does NOT work.

It says that I need to "make depend" and then "make" and it should
install, well it does not.

I'm on KDE, trying to connect to my linux box from my win2k box. I would
like to get this up and running so I'm able to admin my linux box while
I'm away on my win2k box.

I'm not really getting any error messages on install, so I don't know
what error I can post.

If you need any log files, or other info let me know! Happy to provide
it!

Please help? Thanx!!!
