RE: Installing Bind

You could either install the bind....rpm or install the gcc...rpm I have
quit using up2date to install packages and moved to using apt. apt
(http://apt.freshrpms.net) will solve package dependencies for you too.

I'm instaling Bind9 on new server and it's writing:

[root filmnet bind-9.2.2]# ./configure
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for ranlib... :
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking for
ar... /usr/bin/ar checking for etags... no checking for emacs-etags... no
checking for perl5... no checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl checking for
gcc... no checking for cc... no checking for cc... no checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH

what should I do????
