Hi Oleg,

Thanks for your response.

Is there an executable called ImageMagick? I thought ImageMagick was a
set of command-line utilities to manipulate images. Try man
ImageMagick.

"menu editor" found ImageMagick command /usr/X11R6/bin/display

# ls -l /usr/X11R6/bin/display
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 30564 Mar 14 2002 /usr/X11R6/bin/display

# type ImageMagick
bash: type: ImageMagick: not found

# locate ImageMagick
/etc/X11/applnk/Graphics/ImageMagick.desktop
/usr/share/doc/ImageMagick-5.4.3.11
/usr/share/doc/ImageMagick-5.4.3.11/images
......
.....
....
..

# rpm -qa|grep ImageMagick ImageMagick-c++-devel-5.4.3.11-1 ImageMagick-devel-5.4.3.11-1 ImageMagick-c++-5.4.3.11-1 ImageMagick-5.4.3.11-1

but this is a standard installation of RH7.3. Shall I reinstall ImageMagick. I have downloaded

ImageMagick-5.5.3-sd-11.00.depot.gz
ImageMagick-5.5.3-ss-11.00.tar.gz

from Internet

Are they the latest version? Can they run on RH7.3
