Have to disagree here. RH in the past has built a reputation that
their x.0 were for the adventurous and that the later releases
(especially x.2/x.3) ran very well. Further, a minor release could be
depended on (mostly) not to break binary compatibility. With the new
scheme, they'll have t build their reputation from scratch *and* one
has to check release notes for *every* release to figure out whether
it breaks compatibility or not. This is bad, IMO.

Nonetheless, you're right insofar as they won't survive if they don't
get it right.
