Hi, does it means that now a thinpool can be created over an lvm-vdo 
device?

Some time ago I asked on the lvm list and got this reply:
"On lvm2 side we do not allow to use 'VDO LV' as backend for thin-pool 
device".

In the past the issue could be worked around by manually creating the 
VDO device and putting LVM on top of it. But now the vdo command is 
gone...
