Like Alax said OVMF, (sry...EDK2) is really the way to do this. q35 is
experimental and half baked imho.
For shits and giggles I stuck in three GPUs and had a LAN party, if you can
call it that. So yeah it is very possible to do what you want.

Alax has some excellent guides and in depth details on some of the more
interesting aspects of … everything. His code speaks for itself.
