Did you  have any issue with VM restarting before it gets into windows
loading screen? I also have r9 290 from sapphire with i7 6700k and msi
z170a m7, and I usually have to wait long time before I get windows load
screen, sometimes I get fort short time black screen signal so thats why
I know VM is restarting. I also tried OVMF with uefi room for r9 290,
but it also restarting - this time I see uefi load screen and sometimes
I get huge cpu load after I see uefi load screen. On uefi, sometimes I
also get reset problem after turning off VM, but I know it was already
fixed for Hawaii (currently I have qemu 2.4.0 and kernel
drm-intel-nightly from end of the month)

Maybe you or someone else know answer for my problems, or know where to
look to find the problem?
