[vfio-users] VM doesn't boot if I use GPU passthrough

I had a problem similar to what you're experiencing with my ASUS 970. 
Again, can you check whether vfio-pci logs any invalid rom errors in 
dmesg when you start your VM (or when you try to dump your firmware like 
Alex does here :
