[vfio-users] BSOD occuring with 1 game in VM

I am positive this is an Intel LBR issue. You can even check the registers
in their dev guide
http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/manuals/64-ia-32-architectures-software-developer-vol-3b-part-2-manual.pdf

You will notice the logged messages
kvm_set_msr_common: MSR_IA32_DEBUGCTLMSR 0x1, nop
That enables LBR on the Intel CPU according to the

As for the remaining
vcpu1 ignored rdmsr: 0x1c9
vcpu1 ignored rdmsr: 0x680
vcpu1 ignored rdmsr: 0x6c0

0x1c9 is the Top of Stack Pointer for the LBR stack and the rest appear to
be LBR stacks according to the Intel Documentation.

Applying the aforementioned LBR patch removes all the error messages, but
it slows down the game even more which might be due to the implementation.

I am looking into it to see if I can figure out if it is possible to get
LBR working properly in KVM, if anyone has any experience in the matter or
can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
