That's not something I tried.  The way I installed it is via the bootnet.img
floppy and an http URL.

That being said, your problem seems very familiar.  I swear we have some open
bugs about this elsewhere, and I also thought we had fixed it, but I can't
find the relevant bugs at present.  Thanks for filing a new one for now :)
