Dear Martin,

first i would like to thank you for your prompt reply.

i'm currently trying to use virt-manager to finalize VMs installation, whenever i try to setup the VM's network interface from kernel option field within network installation section i get back the following wired error: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2622yhx&s=5

these are the kernel options i'm currently using in order to setup the vm's net interface: ksdevice=eth1 ip=5.0.0.254 netmask=255.255.255.0

btw even if the vm i try to install is obviously crashed i'm still able to ping 5.0.0.254 …

do i miss something?

thanks for ur help,

Regards,
Salvatore.
