formatting in vim

hello all,
this is may be a vim or a wolverine issue, i'm not sure. in older versions of
redhat, i used to be able to use the "gqap" command in vim to format an entire
paragraph. this doesn't work out of the box on wolverine (and i don't know how
to get it back). formatting one line with "gq" works, but gqap is out. any
thoughts?

thanks,
ian wehrman
