Bug ID: 1049681
Summary: Kerberos fallback form can lead to login limbo
Product: Zanata
Component: Authentication-Kerberos
Severity: high
Assignee: irooskov at redhat.com
Reporter: sflaniga at redhat.com
QA Contact: zanata-qa at redhat.com
CC: zanata-bugs at redhat.com
Description of problem:
If the user has authenticated but hasn't created a profile, it is possible to
lose the ability to log in or out.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Tested with latest development version (3.3 SNAPSHOT), but may apply to Zanata
3.2 as well.
How reproducible:
100%
Steps to Reproduce:
On a Kerberos box,
for your first login (no Zanata account yet),
log in via password form (*not* a Kerberos ticket)
but instead of filling in user profile (name, username, email) or hitting
Cancel, just navigate away by clicking the Zanata logo.
Actual results:
Now you're half-logged in, and can't log in or out unless you clear cookies,
because the login/logout buttons are not there.
Expected results:
If the user navigates away, we should provide a Login button, or else a Logout
button.
