A Zanata newbie here so go easy. I tried translating an .srt (subtitle) file after creating a new account at Zanata . org. My troubles are after uploading the .srt file it appears all the line numbers , along with the time duration numbers have disappeared. I fumbled around quite a while trying to get what is showing translated after creating project, version etc, never could get it to work. I Did select the .srt format when setting up to uplad the subtile file. Question: IS it possible with the zanata-client to send my .srt file to zanata server in english and translate to spanish and pull it back to my Debian machine in one line in terminal. Have tried reading the documentation and see nothing about this being possible? Thank You, -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It appears zanata is not capable of using the .srt file extension, even though on the server the 'file' format claims .srt files are usable. I am trying to learn all the syntax of the zanata-cli,,and having a struggle there as well. Bottom line,: Will zanata format/translate .srt files correctly? It appears trying to do this on the server itself,,the line numbers and duration time numbers are eleiminated after uploading an .srt file. I am guessing i am missing something. I chose 'file' as the format to upload as. Thank You -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... There was an earlier discussion on this mailing list about community enabled support and development. However, consensus on required features and enough of a community to continue developing the software seem to be lacking. Weblate seems to primarily be developed by one person. I would like to merge translations of the first document that is almost completely translated into the second document where nothing has been translated yet. I have not found a way to do this directly in Zanata. Is there a way to do it in Zanata, please ?
