Ide not recognised

I've filled under bugzilla 119570

My dual boot asus sk8n runs fedora core test 1 but the latest core 2 won't
get past the anaconda partitioning with either auto partition or disk druid.

Both fail to see the ide drive, hdc.

Is there anything I should do to get this top work?  I thought at first it
was my promise sata raid but with this disabled in bios, the problem
persists!
