Molle,

I assume, this is the very same metadata you sent to me, right ?

Accessible fine in my testbed (which simulates disks via sparse mapped devices
containing your metadata):

Molle_Bestefich # dmraid -r
/dev/dm-14: hpt37x, "hpt37x_ehgjaggaf", stripe, ok, 156355446 sectors, data@ 10
/dev/dm-18: hpt37x, "hpt37x_ehgjaggaf", stripe, ok, 156355456 sectors, data@ 0
/dev/dm-22: hpt45x, "hpt45x_bbdfhdjicg", mirror, ok, 156301478 sectors, data@ 0
/dev/dm-26: hpt45x, "hpt45x_bbdfhdjicg", mirror, ok, 156301478 sectors, data@ 0

Molle_Bestefich # dmraid -tay
hpt37x_ehgjaggaf: 0 312710892 striped 2 128 /dev/dm-18 0 /dev/dm-14 10
hpt45x_bbdfhdjicg: 0 156301478 mirror core 2 64 nosync 2 /dev/dm-22 0 /dev/dm-26 0

What does "dmraid -r /dev/hd[ik]" display ?
If no RAID device information, what does "dmraid -vvv -r /dev/hd[ik]" display ?

Regards,
Heinz
