[Avocado-devel] Fedora 25 and JeOS 25 Image sizes

Hi Avocado and Avocado-VT users,

I promised some data about the image sizes for Fedora 25 and JeOS 25,
with and without Python 2 and Avocado installed.  Here they are:

Fedora 25 (- Python 2, - Avocado):      2189426688
Fedora 25 (+ Python 2, - Avocado):      2232418304 (+ ~41 MiB)
Fedora 25 (+ Python 2, + Avocado 46.0): 2240741376 (+  ~7 MiB)
Fedora 25 (+ Python 2, + Avocado 47.0): 2268659712 (+ ~26 MiB)[1]

JeOS 25 (-Python 2, - Avocado 47.0):  940703744

A short summary of these experiments is that Python 2 and Avocado add
very little to the Fedora 25 installs (as proposed on PR #926)[2].  For
JeOS 25, Python 2 adds very little (~ 6% increase), but Avocado grows it
by ~30%.

With that in mind, the proposal for the JeOS 25 will include Python 2,
but will *not* include Avocado itself.

Feedback is welcome!

[1] - While Avocado 47.0 has less requirements, I had to enable the
"updates-testing" repo, so it actually increased the size of the image.
Once the packages arrive on the main repo, there would probably be a
decrease in size.
