After quite some time I managed to get built-in USB controler in my PWS600
(OHCI USB Contaq Microsystems 82c693) initialized !
It seems that IDE driver for integrated IDE controller in that same chip is
disabling somehow USB controller: after I rebuilt the kernel having IDE
support modular and loaded generic IDE driver instead of 82c693 IDE driver
my USB controller started responding. 82c693 IDE driver was already mentioned
on some mailing lists as being problematic.
This solution may affect pople using havily IDE disks since the performance
could be much worse but in standard configurations of PWSs IDE is used for
CDROMs only.
