When we first installed Linux on the XP1000 and the ES40 we have (SuSE 
8.1), USB was tricky to get working. We got an IRQ related error and 
usb-ohci never loaded.

After some searching we got hold of a module that we could load before 
usb-ohci. It worked for the xp1000 but I had to make some changes to get 
it working on the ES40.

for the ES40 some messages down in the thread. It does mention the DS10 
in some not-so-optimistic way.
