NEW glibc for FC2 on Alpha

Hello,

After quite some time spent trying to build new glibc for FC2 on Alpha finaly 
I got them using the CVS snapshot from 17-aug-2004 (yesterday). The good news 
is that all those segfaulting (in xmms, mozilla, ksplash etc.)  I reported 
before disappeared (as I hoped). I am now testing behavior of my system with 
new glibc - looks very well so far. 
I'll proceed building latest mozilla (btw. the one from distribution - Mozilla 
v.1.4.1 is working now with new glibc package) hoping the build problem 
(segfault in regchrome) will disappear as well.
I will contact Christian Balint and Mike Barnes in order to (presumebly) 
include this new package in distribution.
